A ' CRISP' AND VERY SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 9th/ JANUARY 2019.

We were up a little earlier this morning, ‘ Charlie’ spent the night on the rug on Brenda’s side of the bed before joining us on the bottom of bed for his stretch, after freshening up Brenda took him out for his first walk of the day around the bottom of the village, when she returned we had our usual toast & tea.

As we were getting ready I answered some questions, that came in last night on ‘ Facebook Messenger ‘ about ‘ Doggy World Heaven ‘ – as friends recommend us ( Eileen/Daniela) thanks, we have two enquires at the moment,  one for a ‘Pug’ called ‘ Winnie’! – watch this space.

PS; ‘ Scruffy’ is back with us tomorrow afternoon for the evening, and then  again next Tuesday, ‘ Charlie’ is due to be collected on Saturday, as usual we are going to miss him terribly, as he’s a real character and such good company, meanwhile ‘ Chispa’ is in & out all the time and joins us on our walks!

After breakfast I shot down to the main ‘ Medical Centre’ in Sabinillas for my monthly appointment with the ‘Practice Nurse’ for my ‘B12’ injection, I then called into our ‘Bank’ for some cash, popped into the ‘ English Bookshop’ to put in our complaint, to Steve, about the ‘Xmas Cards’ (5) to Australia & Canada not arrived yet, after being posted on the 30th November! When I returned Brenda went along to the local Chemists in ‘Calle Mar’ for the rest of her prescription tablets.

This morning we have another beautiful day down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the sun was out early and the sky has cleared and is bright blue, there is just a very slight breeze, keeping it ‘ Crisp’ in the shade but warm on the sunny side of the street, by lunchtime reaching the ‘ Heady Heights’ of 21 degs! Tomorrow it’s going to be a little cooler as the breeze picks up, bringing with it colder weather and some of the ‘ wet-stuff’ by Friday, over the weekend it will settle down and brighten up, next week is looking mainly sunny, in the ‘ mid-teens’ but a little cooler, especially overnight, with still some of the ‘ wet-stuff’ still in the air, watch this space.

After typing/posting today’s ‘Blog’ I’m going to make my now famous ‘ Chicken & Mushroom Curry’ with Brenda’s equally famous ‘ Basmati Rice’!

We will be having another easy day at home after catching up with all the chores etc, then after supper it will be time to watch the second episode of ‘ Silent Witness ‘ – this afternoon watching all the ‘ Quiz Shows’ that we follow.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
