A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK;

MONDAY 10th / OCTOBER 2016.

Just a little lie in this morning as ‘ Reina’ is not back with us until tomorrow, she’s here for four days this week, ‘Chispa’ is in and out all the time, as usual, ‘ Paz’ slept on his bed for most of the night, he’s settled in very well, he’s eating everything, we went for our first walk of the day around the bottom of the village, later in the week we will take him up to the top park and then walk around the sports ground through the pine trees.

When we returned we had our regular breakfast of Weetabix, fresh fruit, toast & tea, we have no appointments this week, so far, on Friday morning I will shoot down to Sabinillas for the weekly shopping, as normal.

It started grey & overcast first thing but by the time we went out the sun had broken through and the sky was blue, there is a little breeze but we are still in the high 20s, good for the time of the year, we will find out on the main news on ‘TVE 1’ this afternoon what we are in for the rest of the week and over the coming weekend, watch this space.

See the pictures below of the ‘ Pier Head ‘ in Liverpool yesterday at dusk.

Tonight for our supper we are having the rest of the ‘ Cold Smoked Chicken Risotto’ with a Mixed Salad, on Tuesday its going to be ‘Grilled Gammon Steaks’ & Chips and then on Wednesday I’m going to make a ‘ Beef Curry’ with Basmati Rice!

Last night after supper we watched ‘ Poldark’ as he battled having to go to the ‘Debtors Prison’ – more nasty goings on by the man that hates him, then a mysterious benefactor came to his rescue, at the end he resurrected his love life on Christmas Day as Demelza was singing their son to sleep with a song/ditty about ‘ Pilchards’ -  he came in with a pair of white silk stocking which he then pulled up her long legs and tied the top of them with a silk bow as he whispered his everlasting love to her! It worked!!

                                                                                                                                            He's back!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
