A OVERCAST BUT LATER SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 20th/ OCTOBER 2016.

I was up first this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, she shoots upstairs into her duvet, as usual, she’s is still on her ‘ Carrot Diet’ so she keeps herself to herself until the smell of toast, bacon, etc at breakfast, lunch and in the early evening, meanwhile ‘ Pax’ is sleeping all night, eating everything he’s given and drinking lots of water, Brenda showered first this morning and we then went for the first walk of the day with ‘Pax’

On return we had breakfast and got the shopping list ready for tomorrow morning, Brenda is at the moment shampooing her hair, I’m showering later after typing and posting the Blog; last night as we getting ready to go to bed Jack & Lyn came online on the Skype video from Melbourne, it was the early morning over in Australia, we had tried to make contact the evening before but missed one another, they are both fine, just the usual aches & pains of old age, and are planning to go away in November with their caravan with the local club, we had a good catch up with all the family news over there, nice to hear from them and lots of love, good health and a little wealth!

Today it’s started a little overcast & cloudy but the sun is attempting to break through, by this afternoon it will be back to normal October, warm & sunny down here on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ – the weekend is now looking warm and settled, 16/17degs during the night and 22/23 degs during the day, not bad for the time of the year!

See the picture below, taken yesterday evening of the month’s full moon, ‘ Misty Manilva’ at its best.

For this evenings supper we are now having the rest of the ‘ Calves Liver Casserole’ from last night with a fry up of the left over vegetables & potatoes, I’ve added some more sausage and bacon to the sauce, tomorrow night I’m now making my famous ‘ Seafood Paella’  - on Saturday night it’s going to be  ‘ Grilled Entrecote Steak ‘ with all the trimmings and then on Sunday I’m going to make my special version of ‘ Lancashire Hotpot’

Last night after supper we watched the semi-final of the ‘ Great British Bake Off’ before the next episode of ‘ The Missing’ it’s very gripping, you have to concentrate all the time as there are lots of ‘ flash backs’ as the story un folds, another suicide, more tales from the past, questions left unanswered, arrests, family split ups, next week’s episode will be fascinating!

We then watched the ‘ Champions League’ group game as ‘Pep Guardiola’s’  Manchester City came over to Barcelona, Messi scored another hat-trick and Barcelona won 4-0 – the new City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo was sent off and Sergio Aguero was left on the bench, a miserable return to the ‘Nou Camp’ for Guardiola!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
