ANOTHER VERY HOT & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 6th / SEPTEMBER 2016.

I was up early this morning to welcome back little Princess ‘ Reina’ for the day, she has her new chest retaining collar ( Pink!) and secure clip- on lead with her! She went onto her duvet and back to sleep, we also went back for a little lie in at the same time. ' Chispa' has been here all morning playing. After freshening up we had our regular breakfast of Weetabix, fresh fruit, toast & tea; Brenda then got more washing on the go, I shot up to the office/studio to check out the WWW & then type & post the Blog while listening to Castle Radio FM 89.2 & Online' and checking out the new presenters, see below.

This morning the sun was up early, like me! It’s already very hot and by lunchtime we will be, as forecast, in the high 30s again, in parts of inland ‘Andalucia it’s over 40degs+! The rest of the week is also staying very hot & sunny, over the weekend we will have more of the same. The local off shore breeze helps the ‘ Costa Del Sol’ keep a little cooler at this time of the year. See the picture below of this morning’s sunrise over the vine field hills.

We are having this evening for our supper ‘ Grilled Chicken Wings’ with a Baked Potato & Mixed salad, tomorrow morning I will pop down to our local butchers and find something for supper, Brenda is fancying, for a change, ‘Chicken Kiev ‘ – watch this space, on Thursday its the ‘ Chef’s & Staff’ night off, on Friday it will be ‘ Fish Night’ and Saturday  ‘ Steak Night’

It’s a rest day in the ‘ Vuelta d’ Espana’ before the final stages on the way to Madrid on Sunday, over the weekend and last night in the start of the ‘Qualifying Group’ games for the ‘World Cup’ in Russia 2018,  England had a very lucky win 1-0, Wales had a very good 4-0 win with Bale scoring 2 & here Spain beat little Liechtenstein 8-0 with Silva & Costa both scoring 2!

Last night after supper we settled down to watch the  return of the comedy drama series, based in Manchester,  ‘ Cold Feet’ on ITV, after a gap of nearly 15 years, it was like nothing had changed, the actors James Nesbitt, Robert Bathurst, John Tomson, Fay Ripley, Hermione Norris & Karen David dropped straight back into how they were, the acting and writing were brilliant, the story line was gripping, the filming just right, all making it very watchable, easy viewing! This evening it’s the next episode of the new murder drama of ‘ One of Us’ on BBC, we can’t wait as its at a very interesting & gripping stage.

Yesterday afternoon we also watched a new series ‘ Yes Chef ‘ in which Amature Chefs try to impress the professionals, one of the ‘ tasks’ was to make an Cheese Omelette after being shown by the ‘Mitchelin’ starred Chef – mine are shaped & look better! This afternoon the ‘ task’ is to make the perfect Tartar sauce, they will have to beat mine, I was taught by a ‘French’ Chef De Cuisine!!  Watch this space.

Finally see below some spectacular pictures taken yesterday afternoon by a ‘ Drone’ flying over the ‘ Puerto Duquesa’ Marina on a fine sunny day down on the ‘ Costa Del Sol ‘ Click on to enlarge!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
