ANOTHER FINE & WARM START TO THE WEEK, ON MONDAY. IN SUNNY MANILVA:

MONDAY 26^th / SEPTEMBER 2016.

I was up first this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the week, she’s here for the next five days, still no sign of ‘ Chispa’ coming back from her holidays, we then freshened our selves up and had a quick light breakfast before shooting off to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ just last Marbella for Brenda’s appointment with the ‘Internal Medicine Consultant’

As usual it was on time , to the minute, she was given a good check over and a review of all her medical records and prescriptions, which she adjusted, they have confirmed that Brenda has a Kidney problem that need attention, they then made an appointment back at the hospital next Wednesday for extensive & special blood tests, that can’t be done locally at the surgery, we are also calling to make a appointment for an ‘Ecogram’ of her Kidneys  at the hospital and at the same time an appointment with a senior ‘Kidney Consultant’ again back at the hospital, to review all the results and treat as required, watch this space.

On Thursday lunchtime I’m down at the surgery for my appointment with our Doctor for all the results of all my tests.

As we set off down through the vine fields it was already hot & sunny, the Mediterranean was sparking, we went along the coast road behind Marbella, there is just a little pleasant breeze making it very comfortable, the nights are a also a little cooler, the forecast for the rest of week is looking warm and settled. This evening for our supper I’ve made, for a change  ‘ Turbot & Prawn Fishcakes’ ( Bread crumbed )  which we are having on a pool of a savoury ‘Tomato Salsa’ with Garden Peas & homemade ‘ Stringfellows’  See below.  The rest of the week’s menus are yet to be selected.

Last night after supper we watched the next episode of ‘ Poldark ‘ – intrigue, fights, mysteries and a birth of a baby! We then channel hopped and watched nothing in particular.
