A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA & ESTEPONA ON WEDNESDAY;

WEDNESDAY 16th/DECEMBER 2015.

We were up early this morning and after a quick cup of tea to wet our throats we shot off across the Estepona along the coast road with the Mediterrnean sparkling, the sun was out and the skies are blue, there is nor breeze so its another perfect day down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ The forecast for the rest of the week and over the weekend is for more of the same – 21/22 degs and rising!

We had a ‘Spanish/English breakfast of Fried/Scrambled Eggs, crispy Smoked Bacon and thin cured Salchicha’s with lots of proper toast & coffee, in the main cafe in the center of the town, which is opposite the Jewellers; Brenda collected her new ear rings which have had a new clasp put on. We then set off for some window shopping and ended up buying  a new pair of ankle boots & shoes for Brenda, next we spotted a nice wool poncho & a rather special sparkly jumper with a matching light scarf – for Brenda also! I got some winter socks!! Finally Brenda picked up various cosmetics before we set off back home to sunny Manilva.

Buy the time we got home it was a little late to make the Chicken Curry for tonight’s supper so we are having the Grilled Chicken Wings this evening and the curry tomorrow night.

In ‘Doggy World Heaven’ ‘Reina’ is back with us tomorrow and now she’s coming for a sleep over on Sunday evening also; ‘Barny’ arrives on Saturday for his two week Xmas Holiday and then next Monday the lovely ‘Charlie’ arrives for his annual two week Xmas Holiday as well!

Last night after supper we watched on BBC 1 the first part of a two part special of ‘Luther’ which is a award winning British Crimes Drama with a on-going story line starring Idris Elba, it was very gripping and very gruesome, the English ‘Silence of the Lambs’ style killer is going wild in London eating various parts of his victims! Honest!! The series has been on for four seasons but this was the first one that we have seen! Next weeks episode looks cracking!!

Yesterday morning/lunchtime I put together three play lists/ scripts for my future radio show on ‘Castle Radio FM 89.2’ & the WWW. I’m now working on the next three programmes, I check all the details and research the artists and records as well as playing the music and noting the playing times ( most important ) as well as adjusting my scripts/add lib’s!! Watch this space for the start of ‘Sir’ Malcolm Sexton ‘live on air’ broadcasting from the Studio 1 in Castillo de la Duquesa and possibly in the future from Studio 3 here in sunny Manilva from my office/studio!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
