A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK;

MONDAY 9th/NOVEMBER 2015.

No lie in this morning as the workmen arrived early and commenced to make as much noise as possible, knocking, drilling & shouting as they worked at our end of the site! We still had a little lie in and listened to ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2’ and joined in with some ‘Horizontal Dancing’ as Andrew played some good old rock numbers – try it, lie on your back in bed and let yourself go!!

Speaking of ‘Castle Radio FM 89.2’ my first ever radio show has now be confirmed for this Sunday!
PS; I'm on from 11-00 am to 12-00 noon, please send in your requests to 'studio@castleradiofm.com'

We have had pandemonium this morning in the house, the council water wagon arrived and I got them to wash down the house as well as the street, it means that we had to dash around the house closing all the windows & shutters! ‘Chispa’ came calling early and was playing around our feet and then as I was making another batch of my famous ‘Tomato Salsa’ I knocked over the stock pot on the cooker and made a right mess!! Brenda has her pinney on and is cleaning everything in sight including me!!

I also at the same time freshened up the rest of the ‘Risotto’ with more Smoked Chicken ready for tonight’s supper; we are having our menu planning meeting later.

The sun is out and the sky is blue, its still a little colder at night but during the day it reaches 21/22 degs, the week ahead is starting to look good also

Here in ' Doggy World Heaven' this week 'Reina' is with us on Tuesday & Thursday as normal and now 'Scruffy' is joining us for the day on Thursday also.
.
Over the weekend on the sports front Liverpool lost at home 1-2, Manchester City had a goaless draw, Seville beat Real Madrid 3-2 and Barcelona won 3-0 at home!

Last night we missed the episode of ‘Downton Abbey’ as the newspaper had printed the Sunday details wrong! We had a good catch up with all Lillemor’s news before she goes home to Sweden.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
