STILL OVERCAST IN SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 23rd/ DECEMBER 2014.

I was up early this morning and took ‘Scruffy’ for his first walk of the day before ‘Reina’ arrived for her sleep-over with her duvet and coat until tomorrow lunchtime, she might be back with us on Xmas Day TBC.’Chispa’ we call in later so we might take all three for a walk after our showers and freshen up.She has just arrived so we have the three dogs playing at our feet as we shower! See the picture below with the 'Pack Leader' in charge!

As I was up I decided to go down to Duquesa Marina to the English butchers, before breakfast, and pick up the Turkey that we had ordered, he cut the leg & thighs off and split the crown in two so we are having one half on ‘Xmas Day’ and have put the other half away for the ‘Three Kings’ celebration at the start of January; they gave me a complementary pack of ‘Pigs in Blanket’ and a rather good 2015 calendar.

Its another overcast day to start but the sun was braking through as I came back up the hill through the vine fields and the forecast into next week is staying dry and fine and getting a little warmer – we can’t complain!

Our local councillorMario has just called with a nice presentation pack of Xmas Sweet biscuits from the Mayor and Council - well its Election Time in five months time!

So this evening we are having Cold Chicken with a fry-up of the leftovers Vegetables for our supper, it was as you could see a ‘Big Breasted’ Chicken, just as we like them!

We are taking things easy again today and looking forward to the our first Xmas down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ when we have had no guests or have cooked for friends, we are like ‘Derby & Joan’ – we will still pull our crackers on Xmas Day and I might even get my Father Christmas outfit out! Ho Ho!!

This evening after supper we will try and fine something to watch that’s not ‘Christmassy’?!

Thought for the Day; See above.
