THURSDAY 4th/
DECEMBER 2014.
I was up
bright and early this morning and took ‘Scruffy’ out for his first walk of the
day, meanwhile back at the house ‘Reina’ arrived for the day as usual; she will
back next week on Tuesday & Thursday as well on Saturday for a sleep-over
as Lee & Daniela have their Xmas Office Party in Gibraltar. Next week
‘Scruffy; is with us on Wednesday for the day as Rose is going across to the
hospital for a check up and then he’s coming back sometime over the weekend
-TBC.
‘Chispa’
has just arrived for the morning and is playing around my feet as I’m typing
the Blog. No walk today as Brenda’s back is acting up so I will shoot out later
with ‘Reina’
At the
moment today the weather is fine with clear blue skies and the sun out but its
still rather cold, by our standards at 18/19degs, the weekend is looking fine
as it’s a long ‘Bank Holiday’ weekend here in Spain, on Saturday & Monday -
its “Dia de la Constitucion” – ‘Constitution Day’
Last night
at mid-night we tried to make contact on the Skype video with Jack & Lyn
over in Melbourne as its Lyn’s birthday today, with the ten hour difference it
was the morning there, but sadly we missed them as they were already out
visiting one of her daughters so we left a message on ‘facebook’ “ Happy
Birthday ” Lyn – have a ‘Helluva’ day! Lots of love xxxx.
One bit of
other news from Australia Brisbane Kuala Lumpur
So we have declared
today an ‘official’ at home day with Brenda doing as little as possible taking
things easy; this evening for supper we are having ‘Marinated Chicken Wings’
cooked on the griddle with a nice Mixed Salad and Baked Potato.
Last night
we started to watch after supper a three-part mini-series on the ‘Discovery
Channel’ “ Klondike ’ from 2014! It stars Richard
Madden,Abbie Cornish,Jonny Simmons,Sam Shepard as the ‘Goodie’ and Tim Roth as
the ‘Baddie’!
