A VERY CRISP AND SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 16th/ DECEMBER 2014.

I was up early this morning to welcome little princess ‘Reina’ here for the day, she’s her again on Thursday & Friday, she soon disappeared into her duvet on our bed as this morning it’s a little cold to say the least; the forecast is for clear blue skies and the temperatures are up to 17/18degs later when the sun brakes through. As the week goes on it’s getting a little warmer.

After breakfast we all wrapped up in our coats and went around to the butchers for some Diced Beef & Chicken Wings, we are having ‘Gammon Steaks’ this evening topped with grilled Pineapple & Campo fried Egg with Garden Peas and twice-cooked Frits; tomorrow I’m going to make a large pan of famous ‘Beef & Vegetable Stew’ with for a change some classic ‘Dumplings’ – I will add to it later some cooked diced Potato to make in into a proper ‘Scouse’ for another day! The ‘Chicken Wings’ are for supper one evening which we will have just plain pan-fried with a Mixed Salad and a Baked Potato on the side.

As we came back from the butchers ‘Chispa’ came running up the street to welcome us back and then join her girlfriend for a play; Rose is feeling a lot better so ‘Scruffy’ will be back with us tomorrow and Thursday lunchtime before he come back on Sunday for his Xmas Holiday with us for 7/8 days! He’s moving in with his house, bed, toys and coat for the Xmas festivities here in Calle San Vicente!

Just a quick line to wish Jack & Lyn a ‘Helluva’ - “ Xmas Cruise” as they have boarded this morning for their twelve day cruise around New Zealand, we know that they will have a ‘Helluva’ time! Enjoy and all the very best for Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year – Love Malcolm and Brenda in sunny Manilva xxxx

This evening after supper we will settle down and find something to watch on the TV after catching up with all the news, sport and weather details on TVE 1( our BBC 1)!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
