ANOTHER FINE DAY IN SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 18th/ DECEMBER 2014.

I was up early this morning to welcome ‘Reina’ so I took ‘Scruffy’ for his first walk of the day before she arrived, we all got back into bed ‘Reina’ in her duvet and ‘Scruffy’ across the foot of the bed were we all then promptly fell asleep until the sound in the street woke us all up!

It’s another fine day here in sunny Manilva, in fact this morning its mild with the sun already out, the forecast for the weekend is looking good, we could be up to 20degs, so fingers crossed for the Xmas week!

At lunchtime we all went for a nice walk in the hot sunshine,the three dogs " Scruffy Reina & Chispa " were all very good as we took in the sights,sounds and smells of sunny Manilva as the water wagon washed down the streets!

No shopping tomorrow morning as ‘Reina’ is back with us for the day so we are going down to Sabinillas first thing on Saturday morning; this evening it’s the ‘Christmas Carol Concert’ with the local choirs and children along with village Brass Band, this year its taking place in the ‘Pabellon – Congress’ centre by the sports ground not in the church, we don’t know why?! It’s not the same inside the centre, its cold and the sound is terrible due to the concrete block walls; sadly anyway we can’t make as ‘Scruffy’ is not being picked up until 9-o’clock!

This evening for our supper we having the ‘Scouse’ that I made yesterday, last nights ‘Dumplings’ cooked in the ‘Beef & Vegetable Stew’ were rather nice, they attracted lots of ‘Likes’ on our ‘facebook’ page from all our local Spanish friends?!

At the moment its shower time so both the dogs are sat watching us - ‘Chispa’ also likes the shower and always follows us, they are all used to being washed in the bath under the shower!

Last night after supper we watched the final episode of ‘Klondike’ – it turns out that it was based on a true story and the some of the characters in the tale were still alive back in 1967!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
