A CRISP AND SUNNY MANILVA ON SATURDAY;

SATURDAY 15th/ NOVEMBER 2014.

I took ‘Scruffy’ out for his first walk of the day early this morning and as we were having our breakfast ‘Chispa’ came calling, I had a nice surprise as I had a Poached ‘Campo’ Egg & toast and ‘Heinz Baked Beans’ on toast on the same plate – as a treat!

No rain today but its crisp and cooler and the forecast is starting to look good for the start of next week as its getting warmer and sunny down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ Its now warm with a clear blue sky!

I’m at the moment watching on the smaller PC ‘BBC TV Breakfast News’ and typing the Blog on the larger PC. Then it will be time to watch ‘Saturday Kitchen Live’ Later we are going for a good walk across to the top of the village with both of the dogs and we will call into the small stationery shop in one of the streets to see if they have a Blue marker pen!( Got one !)

Brenda is washing her long ‘mane’ for the last time as she is having the full works next week at the hairdressers, she is getting ready for tomorrow as we are going out in the morning down to ‘Duquesa Marina’ to have a look at the Classic Cars on display along the front of the port; at the same time we will call into the ‘English Butchers’- if its still open on Sunday, to order the Xmas Turkey and buy some Goose Fat before we have a light Tapas lunch in one of the bars overlooking the marina.

On the sports front this weekend there is no ‘La Liga or Premiere League’ as its the qualifying rounds of the ‘European Championships’ as Spain welcome Belarus and England welcome Slovenia; this afternoon over in the UK its more ‘International Rugby’ as England play South Africa and Wales play Fiji – I will try and catch at least one of the games via my ‘IT’ sports downloads! Wales 17 - Fiji 13  England 28 South Africa 31 !!

This evening for supper we are having ‘Entrecote Steak’ seared on the hot griddle with no oil ‘Med-Rare’ with finely sliced Green Beans and Baked Potato with no butter and a Mixed Salad on the side!

We will then settle down to find something to watch after catching up with all the news, sport and weather details.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
