HOT AND SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 27th/ APRIL 2014.

Just a little lie in this morning at the start of yet another glorious day in sunny Manilva; it looks like the weather is the same for next week, no plans yet just taking things easy. One day we will go across to the ‘Poligamo- Industrial Estate’ in Estepona for some cheap Oil and Coolant for the car.

Today we are relaxing and freshening our self’s up before we go for a walk with both of the dogs as ‘Scruffy; is coming for the day with us later; this afternoon I will be watching the Liverpool v Chelsea game upstairs in the office on the large PC.

Oh " B----r " !! Liverpool 0 - Chelsea 2 !!  Not the end of the world - but ?! City have just won 0-2 so they are now back in the driving seat to win !! Meanwhile Ateltico Madrid won 0-1 and are now pretty certain to win here!!- But late on here Barcelona beat Villarreal 2-3 and are still in with a slim chance!!!

Tonight for our supper we are having ‘Medallions of Pork Fillet’ cooked on the griddle with Carrots in Ginger. Diamond-cut Green Beans and as a treat a small amount of our favorite ‘Breton’ potatoes –  diced boiled potatoes tossed with chopped Onions, Mushrooms and Red & Green Peppers in foaming butter! And yes of course a sauce boat of my famous 'Charcutiere' sauce -  Oh dear it’s the ‘Weigh in’ on Monday morning!

Yesterday we had a good film day as we watched three and missed one! In the afternoon after the football we chose to watch from six films “ K19 The Widowmaker” from 2002 with Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson about a Russian Nuclear submarine facing various disasters on a voyage- a story based on an actual event! Then after supper we watched two films at the same time, don’t ask! – “ The American” from 2010 with George Clooney and Thekla Reuten about a assassin with no heart! – and on another channel a re-make of the classic 1957 film “ 3:10 to Yuma” from 2007 with Russell Crowe as the baddie and Christian Bale as the goodie – watch out for the final shoot-out at the end!

Finally it was “ Wyatt Earp” from 1994 with Kevin Costner and a very large ‘Ensemble’ cast – it was on late on the channel with the longest commercial breaks 6/7 minutes which makes the film nearly45 minutes longer! So we didn’t catch it!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
