WARM CRISP AND DRY IN SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY;

MONDAY 19th/ FEBRUARY 2014.

An early start to the day as we had appointments at the surgery with our doctor to check my chest X-Ray and update all our details after the visit to the hospital with all the consultants; every thing is fine with my X-Ray so no problem there then, I now just have to wait to hear from the hospital for the results of the Prostrate Biopsy – fingers crossed! It is another lovely morning here in sunny Manilva with a clear blue sky and the sun shinning with a little crisp breeze!

Last night we had a very enjoyable evening with Josie and are looking forward to seeing her again on Sunday evening for our roast of the day – ‘Loin of Pork’ with all our usual trimmings – Josie is bringing some of her homemade Chocolate Ice Cream.

Recently Josie has joined ‘Ancestry’ to research her family history and the other day when we picked her up we were talking about it – so when she came around last night she had very kindly found some basic details about Brenda’s mum & dad and their parents, she had also found out some details about my mum & dad at the same time; she has just E-Mailed a copy of my fathers birth certificate – thanks!

No plans for today, we will go for a long walk later with the dog and check out what is happening on all the on-going projects; this afternoon we will proberly watch some more of the ‘Winter Olympics’ and this evening for our supper you will never guess what we are having – ‘Chicken Curry’ with Rice and Chips !!

Later we will watch the news,sport and weather details before settling down to find something to watch.

Thought for the Day; See above.
