CRISP AND DRY IN SUNNY MANILVA AT THE START OF THE WEEK;

MONDAY 24th / FEBRUARY 2014.

Overnight the rains came but this morning at the moment its back to normal, the sun is out and the sky is blue! After our tea and toast with local honey I went down to our dentist ‘Victor Hugo’ to have a check up and clean which I arranged with him yesterday when we went up to the hotel to see his new set up for the ‘Bodega La Espanola’- 20 minutes later I immerged – at no cost !

Today we are having an at home day, Brenda is catching up with the washing, drying and ironing and I’ am on the WWW. catching up with the E-Mails,Facebook,reading the online newspapers, the bank statements and the Blog as you can see; the picture on the Blog last night which was also on Facebook of Brenda and Me in the lounge taken by Josie on her mobile has attracted lots of ‘Hits!’ – thanks to all our family and friends!

This evening for supper we are having cold Roast Loin of Pork with a ‘Fry-up’ of all the leftover vegetables and potatoes before settling down to catch up with all the news, sport and weather updates; no plans this week except on Wednesday when we are taking Josie to the airport in Gibraltar, that is unless we hear from the hospital about the results of my Biopsy, we then have to make an appointment to go and see the consultant for them! Also I’ am still waiting for an E-Mail confirmation that my Spanish driving license is ready to be picked up from the Traffic Department in La Linea – so I’ am going to call in on Wednesday morning as we are dropping Josie off at the border right next to the office!
