TUESDAY 7th/
JANUARY 2014.
We started
today with a nice lie in after last nights supper with Mano &Anna; the sun
is out and the forecast is looking good in sunny Manilva. No early walk this
morning as Charlie was collected by Jan yesterday evening – we feel lost
without him and are missing him – it sounds like he could be back sometime in
March as they have plans now to go away again!
Brenda has
an appointment at the surgery later this morning to get her eyes checked out as
she has a slight irritation around her eye lids;Chispa is also due to go down
the vets as she is scratching her back a lot so when Brenda gets back we will
take her down! Health updates later on both of them! Brenda has some new ointment and a quick appointment with the Dermatology consultant in two weeks over at the hospital past Marbellla; Chispa has had an injection and some update on her treatment - so both are now fine!!
We will
then take down the Xmas decorations and pack them away, at the same time Brenda
will check out the Christmas cards to see who is missing! No plans this week at
the moment we are just settling down to our relaxing life down here in sunny
Manilva.
This
evening we are having Cold Turkey with a fry-up of the leftover vegetables
& potatoes and it looks like it could be a ‘Turkey & Mushroom Risotto’ on Wednesday
evening! Something simple like Sausage,Egg and Chips on Thursday before we hit the shops on Friday.
After
supper we will catch up with all the news and most importantly the weather
forecast before settling done to find a programme to watch,the new series of
the Spanish soap that we follow is due back on and the Spanish version of ‘Come
Dancing’ is returning ( Not nearly as good as the English one!)
