A VERY WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA & SABINILLAS ON SATURDAY.

SATURDAY 5th/ OCTOBER 2019.   “ CANADA WEEK DAY SEVEN “

I was up early this morning and after a quick freshen up I shot off on my travels, down to Sabinillas, for our weekly shopping, I called into ‘ItZabar’ for my usual toast & tea, before ‘ Mercadona ‘ opened, next Friday it’s the last time that I will be using this ‘ Mercadona’ as it’s closing, until early in December, for a complete refurbishment/new restaurant etc, meaning that I will have to go to the next one, along the coast road, before Estepona! Watch this space.

No local market on a Saturday, for the fresh flowers & wall plants, so I called into ‘ Super Sol’ for the ‘ English essentials, after collecting the ‘English’ newspapers etc, from the ‘ English Bookshop’ I unloaded back at the house.

‘ Winnie’- the Black Pug, was dropped off by Stuart and his two sons, she’ s no longer ‘ little’ but now ‘ chunky’! When she’s collected in nine days time, she is then being flown back to England, to the Wirral, before then going with all the family to Dubai, where Stuart had a new job, they are all very excited!

See below a picture of three ‘Yorkshire Terriers’ that could be joining us in ‘Doggy World Heaven’ next year, as their owners are moving to a house in Estepona! Watch this space.

The sun was blinding as I dropped down through the vine fields this morning, the ‘Mediterranean’ was sparking and calm as the breeze has dropped, so by this afternoon it’s due to reach 29 degs+ - tomorrow is the same, on Monday, at the start of next week up to 30 degs+ - then going  a lot cooler as the breeze pick up again, hovering in the low/mid 20s, about normal for the time of the year, overnight still only down to 18/19 degs, with patchy clouds and the threat in the air of some of the ‘ Wet-Stuff’ – during the week, watch this space.

On the sports front today; in the ‘Premiere League’ Liverpool welcome Leicester City and Everton have the small journey up the M6 to play Burnley, tomorrow Manchester City are at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ – over here in ‘La Liga’ Real Madrid welcome Granada and Barcelona welcome Sevilla. The ‘ Horse Racing’ is from Ascot, meanwhile over in Japan at the ‘Rugby Union World Cup’ England have just beaten Argentina 39-10.

This evening we are going down to the villa in Manilva Beach for our ‘ Last Supper BBQ’ with all the family, as early tomorrow morning they fly back to Montreal from Malaga, we are going to miss them all, terribly, here’s to the next time when we all meet up?!

PS; See the pictures below, from yesterday, that I have just added to Friday’s Blog, due to a technical issue they are not as good as I hoped! I had to take the pictures with my camera form the screen, then post them?!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
