A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY.

THURSDAY 16th/ MAY 2019.

I was up early this morning and after a very quick freshen up I shot off along the coast road past a calm & sparkling Mediterranean to the Estepona Hospital’ for my final appointment this week at the main ‘Physiotherapy Department’ – I found a good spot to park opposite the Hospital, I had my usual tostado & tea in ‘Tikitapi’ before crossing to the Hospital , where ‘ Encarni’ – the Head Physio’ looked after me, a hot wax bath first, then various stress excercises, later she gives me a deep finger massage, on my problem left-hand.

I’m back next week on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday, as on Tuesday Brenda has her appointment at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ – past Marbella, with her ‘ Kidney Consultant’ for a review/check up, tomorrow morning I have my Blood tests etc, down at the main ‘ Medical Centre’ before I carry on with my travels for the weekly shopping as usual on a Friday morning! At lunchtime we are back down at the main ‘ Medical Centre’ for both our ‘ Diabetic’ reviews!!

The sun had broken through earlier and the sky was cloudless and blue, there is a slight breeze, keeping it very pleasant to be out & about, the perfect time of the year, by lunchtime it will reach 27 degs+ - overnight down to 18 degs, tomorrow and over the weekend it’s looking a little cooler, hovering on the 23/24 mark, still warm & sunny, with patchy clouds, next week is now forecast to be dry, just with a very slight possibility of the ‘ wet-stuff’ mid-week, warm & sunny all week, in the mid 20s, as the breeze stiffens! Watch this space.

As I passed the main  Estepona‘ Feria Arena’ this morning, which finished last night, on my way into the back of Estepona, it had all been cleared away overnight, only the ‘ Big Wheel’ was still standing, as I came out, later, it had gone also!

See the picture below, taken last night, of the ‘ Feria’ in ‘ full- flow’!

See above some pictures taken from “ A Ferry Across the Mersey “ – as the ‘Snowdrop’ went along & across the river, showing various landmarks etc, on both shores.

This evening for our supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ cooked on a hot griddle-plate, garnished with seared Button Mushrooms and topped with seared Pineapple Rings and ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs, not forgetting the ‘ HP’ Brown sauce on the side! Served with Broccoli Florets & Garden Peas, as well the ‘ triple’ cooked ‘ Chips’

This afternoon we will be watching/catching up the ‘ Giro d’Italia ‘ 2019 – which started on Saturday, ‘ Stage 6’ today goes from Cassino to San Giovanni Rotonda’ over a hilly 238 kms.

This evening after supper we will settle down to watch the final episode (four part) of the ‘ Family/Murder ‘ drama – “ 15 Days “ as the two brothers and two sisters, fight to gain control of the family farm & land, as more family secrets come out, one husband having an affair with his wife’s sister, one of the brothers plotting to keep it all, the other brother being uncovered as a ‘ Bastard Sibling’- his father is the brother/uncle of the dead father of the family, who’s now dead wife, ( Matriarch) had an affair, in the ‘ woods’ with her husbands brother, who has two wayward sons, one roaming around hitting people and killing all the cows!  Are you following, it’s only ‘4 days’ ( flash.backs!) to go to see who committed the murder, by shooting with shot gun – who?! Watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
