A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 15th/MAY 2019.

We had a little lie in this morning before getting ourselves freshened up, for our breakfast I had a special ‘ Toasted Sausage Butty ‘ – smothered in HP’ Brown sauce – Brown toast for Brenda, with a Banana, with mugs of strong tea. We have a relaxing ‘ at home day’ – taking things very easy, as later it’s going to be a ‘ Hot-One’!

While we were getting ready we were able to listen to the ‘ Andrew Charles Breakfast Show’ on ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & Online on the WWW’ – the ‘Music Quiz’ came on, I got it straight away, it was “ Thin Lizzy’ with ‘ Jailbreak’ from 1976, he later gave us a mention and played a track for ‘ Sir’ Malcolm & ‘Lady’ Brenda! Which we danced too!!

The sun was out early and the blue sky is cloudless, there is just a very slight breeze, so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 30 degs+ tomorrow will be a little cooler as the breeze gets up, then from Friday and over the weekend it’s hovering in the mid 20s, next week is looking the same, with a few patchy clouds, going a little warmer at times, up to 26 degs+ - which is good news as we are out & about ‘ playing’ with friends! Watch this space.

Yesterday afternoon I went down to the main ‘ Medical Centre’ for my monthly ‘ V12’ injection, I first made an appointment for my ‘Blood’ tests etc, for this Friday morning, as I’m down in Sabinillas on my travels for the weekly shopping “ RESULT “ – then sadly it all went wrong, the ‘Practise Nurse’ didn’t appear, ( for the first time)  I & other people sat around waiting, our ‘ Doctor’ Natalia, tried to chase things up, with no luck, finally I blew my top and stormed to the reception desk, I couldn’t get another appointment until Tuesday 28th!

We had a new guest in Doggy World Heaven’ yesterday evening, little ‘ Barney’ came to see us with Chris & Stephanie, they both work in Gibraltar, he’s a ‘ Rescue Dog’ and is a very gentle ‘ Chappie’ – sadly we couldn’t fit him next week, its’ too late notice, hopefully he will be back with us in the future, no doubt, the folks then went along to ‘ Bar Castillo’ for a drink & ‘Tapas’ – where we joined them for a nice cool drink and chat, ‘ thanks’!

See ‘ Barney’ below;

The ‘ Physiotherapy Department’ at the Estepona Hospital is closed today, as it’s Bank Holiday in Estepona, for their ‘Saints Day’ and the last day of the ‘Feria’ I’m back tomorrow morning for more treatment on my left-hand, the ‘ Council’ managed to finish, in time, all the outside work on the new ‘Athletics Stadium’ – which is next to the ‘Football Ground’ and the main ‘ Feria’ arena.

See below the new fountains in action!

This meant that we missed our supper time, so  instead we had ‘ Heinz Spaghetti’ on toast, we are having the ‘ Lambs Liver ‘ this evening and on Thursday it will now be the ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ I have cancelled the ‘ Omelette Chef’!

After supper we will be channel hopping, as there are new series starting, later we will catch up with all the news and weather reports.

PS; We have just had a surprise ' Skype' video call from Jack & Lyn over in Melbourne, Australia, they are both well, they had lots of family visits for ' Mother's Day' - Lyn has sent letters to Norah & Jenny, after receiving theirs, we had ' Lyns' " Easter Card' in the post the other day - as Jack says' it must be delivered by ' Camels'!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
