A FRESH, WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 14th/ MAY 2019.

We had a nice, long, lie in this morning until some of our neighbours were ‘chattering’ down in the street outside our front door!  Then ‘ Chispa’ came calling, she ‘ rattles’ the front door,  as usual she’s in & out all the time, we freshened up and as I was on the breakfast rota we had my now famous ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butties’ – smother in ‘ HP’ Brown sauce, open on brown for Brenda, with mugs of strong/hot tea.

Over the weekend we have been contacted by new ‘ Dogs’ and their owners, to come and join us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – they are from recommendations, this evening a friend of ‘ Big Brian’ – who is staying with us next Monday evening, is coming with little ‘ Barney’ Watch this space.

After breakfast I popped along ‘Calle Mar’ to the local Bank to pay the Electricity & Water Bills, they are dropped off, Brenda then checks them out, as she keeps records of all the readings etc, she is always spot on with her forecasts!

This afternoon I have my monthly appointment down at the main ‘Medical Centre’ - with the ‘Practise Nurse’  for my ‘V12’ injection, at the same time I’m going to make an appointment for my Blood tests etc, in time for my 9 month review/check up with the ‘Prostate Consultant’ – later in the month – across at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’

On Thursday morning I’m back at the ‘Physiotherapy Department’ at the ‘ Estepona Hospital’  for more extensive treatment on my left-hand. Yesterday afternoon we had a call from the main ‘Medical Centre’ – down in Sabinillas, calling us both in for a ‘ Diabetic’ review on Friday lunchtime! Watch this space.

The sun was out first thing and as there is a stiff breeze, the clouds have cleared and the sky is blue, but with the breeze its’ only going reach 22 degs+ later, tomorrow we are in for a ‘ Hot-One’ as the wind drops, going up to 30 degs+ by lunchtime, for the rest of the week and over the weekend its staying warm, with patchy clouds, with a light breeze, hovering in the mid 20s, overnight down to 14/15 degs, next week is now looking warm & sunny, when we will be out & about with friends! Watch this space.

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Pan-Seared Lambs Liver ‘ – dusted in seasoned flour and ‘ flash’ cooked – ‘Pink – no blood’ accompanied with Grilled English Pork Sausages and Crispy Spanish Smoked Bacon, with a sauceboat of a rich ‘Red Wine, Onion/Shallot & Mushroom Salsa, with a small selection of fresh/local ‘Vegetables of the Day’ as well as Parsley New Potatoes.

This afternoon/early evening we will be catching up with all the ‘Quiz Shows’ that we follow; ‘Countdown, 15 to 1, Tipping Point, The Chase, Pointless, Eggheads & Mastermind’  - later after supper we will be watching a four-part ‘ Murder Mystery ‘ about four siblings returning home to spread their mother’s ashes, for a change on ‘ Channel 5 ‘- and what happened in the past “ 15 Days “ – as the title says!!

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
