A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY MORNING;

THURSDAY 21st/ APRIL 2016.

I was up first this morning to see ‘ Reina’ back with us for the day, she shot into her duvet in the office, we then sorted ourselves out for the day ahead, after our normal breakfast Brenda started on one on her ‘ ing’ days, ’Mopping, Cleaning, Ironing, Sorting and Organising! I shot up to the office to catch up on the WWW, read the newspapers, check the E-Mails etc before typing and posting the Blog.

The forecast for the next couple of days and over the weekend into next week is looking settled and dry, its a little cloudy, at the moment, later it will become sunny and the temperature is due to reach 20/21 degs – more of the same for the next few days. See the pictures below of the rocky coast on the way to Sotogrande this morning and over in Colwyn Bay the promenade ( the Council need to paint the railings!) And lastly the ' moon' over the 'Liver Bulding'

For our supper this evening we are having a “ Calves Liver &  Cumberland Sausage Casserole “ topped with Crispy ‘Smoked Back Bacon’ with local Carrot Batons &Garden Peas and Brenda’s famous ‘ Mashed Potato’

Last night after supper we found on BBC 2 a very ‘English’ documentary about the “ Caravanner of the Year “ – the ‘ Caravan Clubs’ first award for caravanners, camper vans & motorhomes! They were all ‘English Eccentrics’ – mostly older married couples with one ‘ mothers’ boy with his 85 year old mum! They were set various tasks, erecting an awning, reversing in a narrow space and at the end a  “ Concours d’Elegance “ – all timed, measured with tapes, checked for dust with white gloves etc, At one point the ‘wives’ had to drive & reverse, none of them had ever driven before, their husbands would not let them! The shouted driving instructions , left or right full lock etc, were very funny and the contestants trying to not loose their temper with one another were hilarious!!

The picture below shows three very young ' Beatles' as I remember them in their and my early school days!!

At lunchtime Andrew from ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & World Wide Online’ is due to call in and install all the equipment and programmes so as I will be able to broadcast ‘ live’ from the studio here in the heart of sunny Manilva, watch this space – fingers crossed!

Due to technical problem with the programme systems/instillation,  Andrew has just called and suggested that for the first show on Saturday morning I broadcast ' live' from the main studio down in ' Castillo de la Duquesa' - this will give us more time over the next week to get things sorted back here in my studio, watch this space and don't forget to tune in and listen this coming Saturday morning at 11-00am ( our time here!) on the WWW!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
