A VERY WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 26th / APRIL 2016.

We managed a little lie in this morning as there was no deliveries, first thing, for breakfast we had ‘ Smoked Back Bacon Butties’ with tea, I then shot down to the local shop for some fresh vegetables etc, this evening for supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ with Garden Peas & ‘ Thin Frits’ – of course topped with ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs! Tomorrow evening I’m making a ‘ Braised Steak, Mushroom & Onion Casserole’ with Cabbage with Alselgas, glazed Carrot Batons and Brenda’s famous ‘ Mashed Potato’

The sun was out early and its already warm, getting hotter later, by lunchtime its due to reach 23/25degs,the sky is blue and there is no breeze, its staying the same with just a little threat of it going a little cold and damp on Friday, as the tail end of the ‘Artic’ storm that is hitting the UK at the moment reaches down to us on the ‘ Costa Del Sol’!

Little Princess ‘ Reina’ arrived after breakfast for the day, Daniela has left a message last night to check that was OK, she’s back with us for three days, from tomorrow, up to Friday also, over the weekend they took her to the local ‘Dog Show’ at the charity kennels and she is now “ Miss Junior Estepona 2016 “! ‘Chispa’ will be very jealous when she finds out!!

We are in the middle of this months ‘Pension’s’ cycle, they are showing up & down on last months due to the ‘Euro’ – we are of course still down, overall, over 150 Euros since six months ago! Watch this space.

Mano has been calling in each day and has been helping with all the paper work on the two cars and this morning is arranging the update on the ‘Car Insurance’ as well as the transfer of ownership documents,in fact we shot across to Estepona and signed the new contracts for the insurance at our old bank, we are now fully covered. I will then take our car to the local garage to get Pedro to fix all the little jobs and check out the small exhaust problem at the same time. Watch this space. Yesterday lunchtime I took the old ‘Red Ferrari – Fiesta’ down to Castillo de la Duquesa and sold it, on the way back I called into our bank with the ‘ cash’- RESULT!!

At lunchtime we went along to ' Bar Castillo' where Juan looked after us, we had a very nice 'Tapas' lunch sat outside in the warm sunshine and watching the world go by.

Yesterday afternoon/evening we had our quiz show round up,’ Fifteen to One, Countdown, Pointless & Eggheads’  and then after supper we channel hopped, this evening Mano & Carlos are watching the Semi-Final First Leg of the ‘ Champions League’ as Manchester City welcome Real Madrid, they are going down to the ‘City Supporter’s Bar’ on the beach front in Sabinillas, they are all ready talking about buying their tickets and flights to see the Final in Milan?! Watch this space.
