Just a little lie in this morning as ‘Reina’
was due back with us for the day; its dry and very cold but the sun is due back
by lunchtime when it will reach 19 degs,over the next few days its more of the
same but still very cold at night 6/7 degs – the tail end of both of the cold
fronts!

‘CLASSIC’ SHOW !
This morning live on air Andrew Charles announced
that I will broadcasting my show as a regular presenter every Sunday from my
studio up here in sunny Manilva!! He played my ‘Royal Fanfare’ trumpet introduction
followed by my own ‘intro’

He Overthrow’s Regimes !
He Delivers Babies !
And Can Land a Plane !!
I have already 5/6 playlists set up along
with the scripts so I will be working on more shows over the next couple of
weeks, hopefully I will be on air by the end of the month, watch this space for
the dates and times! He also played our request later on the morning show of
our favourite singing/ dancing track “ Buona Sera “ by Louis Prima which I
think could become my signature track!!
Yesterday lunchtime Mano called in with his
flight details as we are picking him & Anna up this coming Sunday evening from the
airport over in Gibraltar after they return from a friends wedding in North Wales,
they are over for the week staying with family & friends around Manchester
and in North Wales, Mano is in fact ‘ giving her away’ as she is an old
friend of both of them.
Today is definitely an at home day so we are
taking things easy, we are planning to go over to Estepona in the morning but
at the moment Brenda had a swollen left foot that is turning black and blue
after our butchers block/ chopping board fell on her foot on Sunday morning!! Ice
packs & ‘Witch Hazel’ are being administered!! I was due to call into my
Barber, Manuel, for a trim, cut and massage, we were then going to do a little
sales window shopping and check on the repair of our Carriage clock at the Jewellers,
it was a wedding present from our Best Man, Fred, our dear friend Carol’s
husband, sadly both not now with us
We are not going across to Estepona in the morning but the hospital has just called and asked if we could bring forward Brenda's appointment with her 'Heart Consultant' from the 25th of January to tomorrow afternoon at 5-30 pm ' - which suits us, so we have cancelled our appointment with the Chiropodist down at the surgery, at the same time, to another day!

For our supper this evening we are having
the rest of the” Pork & Mushroom Tarragon Casserole “ from last night, this
time with some local Baby Carrots and ‘Frits’ On Wednesday & Thursday we
are going to ‘raid’ the deep freeze, then on Friday its ‘Fish Night’ before a ‘Steak
Supper’ on Saturday - Sunday is TBC later.
Last night we channel hopped over on BBC TV
before watching back to back episodes of “ New Tricks “ on our ‘Watch Series’
connection on the new PC/TV system.
