A VERY HOT & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 6th/ AUGUST 2019.

I was up very early, again, this morning to welcome back little ‘ Miss Bella’ for the day, ‘Chico’ as usual spent the night fast a sleep under our bed on the marble floor, we then all had a little lie in before getting the day on the go, after freshening up Brenda took ‘ Chico’ out for his first walk of the day, ‘ Chispa’ joined them, not on her lead, they then all came back for their breakfast! Toast & tea for us, toast for Chico & Bella, brown with butter, and a slice of ‘Pavo’ – her favourite for ‘ Chispa’! This afternoon ‘ Scruffy’ is due to arrive, for a few hours, for the last time this week.

We are in for another ‘ Hot-One’ today, the sun was out early, the sky is cloudless & blue, as there is a slight breeze, so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 35 degs+ - over the next few days more of the same, over the weekend a little cooler, but still in the low 30s, next week is now looking, after Monday, a little cooler, dropping to the high 20s, as the breeze gets up, overnight still hovering around 21/22 degs, watch this space.

Over in Liverpool yesterday and today the cruise liners have been in & out, berthed at the ‘Pier Head’ – the ‘Mien Schiff’ followed by the “ AIDAura “ – as you can see below, as the “AIDAura “ passed up the River Mersey, passed Crosby beach and the Sir Antony Gormley statues ‘ Another Place ‘

With a couple of pictures of Liverpool and the ‘ Three Sisters’ taken this morning.

At the moment I’m listening to the ‘Country Classics’ with David Sibbald on ‘ Castle Radio FM 89.2 & Online on the WWW’ – the best country music show on air, catch is if you can!

Yesterday evening we had a good catch-up with Sandra & Bill, over in Everett, Ontario, Canada on the ' Skype' video, they had just been cutting the grass, as it was ' Bank' holiday, we caught up with all their family news and then started to make plans for their visit at the end of September, with visits to Ronda & Tarifa on the schedule, as well as a family meal ( 10 ) at one of of our favourite restaurants ( TBC ) and a local ' Tapas' lunch here in the village ( Guess where?! )  - including ' Free Days' for the younger members of the ' Clan' !

For our supper this evening we are having ‘ Medallions of Pork Fillet ‘ cooked on a very hot griddle-plate, garnished with seared Button Mushrooms, served with Broccoli Florets & finely sliced ‘ French’ Green Beans, with some cubed/boiled Potatoes, tossed in foaming Parsley Butter until crisp and golden. ( a mistake with the 'Type Face!)

This evening after supper we will catch the next episode of “ Keeping Faith “ as the lawyer battle all her problems at work and home, watch this space.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
