ANOTHER COLD & CRISP SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 25th/ JANUARY 2017.

‘Reina’ arrived very early this morning so we all went back to bed for a nice lie in, it was very quiet in the village, no deliveries down our street, no church bells and the children going to school were not talking, after freshening up with had our regular breakfast before getting the day ahead on the go; Brenda is catching up with her jobs around the house and I’m up in the office/studio on the ‘ WWW’ It’s another at home day taking things easy, we have no plans, just relaxing and enjoying the peace & quiet of sunny Manilva.

Today has started a little grey & overcast again but no doubt it will pick up later, when the sun breaks through it goes warm, reaching hopefully 19degs today, as forecast, it’s still very cold and the snow is still on the top of the mountains, the ‘ Atlantic’ front is due to come across late on Thursday evening and then Friday is going to be wet & windy, just for the day, by Saturday its back to normal for the time of the year, watch this space, if the forecast stays the same I’m going to stay in on Friday and then go down to Sabinillas, on my travels, for the weekly shopping on Saturday.

See the picture below, taken this morning, of the beach down in Sabinillas and the view across to the mountains.

For our supper this evening we are now having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ topped with Fried Eggs, Garden Peas & twice-cooked ‘ Frits ‘ on the side with ‘ HP’ Sauce, tomorrow it’s going to be Pan-Fried ‘Chicken Wings’  with Baked Potatoes and then on Friday it’s a ‘ Fish Supper’ – Saturday will be ‘ Steak Night’ and then on Sunday we are ‘ Roasting’! Watch this space.

This evening we will channel hop and find something to watch, there are no on-going series this evening, last night we caught the second part of the excellent ‘ Silent Witness ‘

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
