A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY.

WEDNESDAY 9 th/ MARCH 2016.

After seeing ‘Reina’ back for the day we had our normal breakfast of fresh fruit, toast & tea before freshening our selves up, I then hung the washing out and put another one on, its now out also, its good drying weather, so I’m told! See below the washing lines are full up on the roof patio!!

Tomorrow I’m helping Brenda to shampoo her hair downstairs in the small sink in the toilet next to the kitchen, I’ve also got to catch up with mopping around the house including the upstairs bathroom, then the big job is to clean the canopy and gas rings in the back kitchen, watch this space.

We have another glorious day here in sunny Manilva, the sun was out early and the sky is bright blue, there is just a little breeze and the forecast for the rest of the week and over the weekend is looking settled and fine, at night its still cold but picking up all the time. See below the beach front in Sabinillas looking back from the Estepona end this morning.

And Colwyn Bay sea front this morning!!

And on Thursday morning!

For our supper this evening we are having ‘Grilled Gammon Steak’ with Broad Beans in Parsley Sauce, sautéed Mushroom & Garden Peas, a few ‘ Frits’ on the side – mine topped with a ‘Campo Fried Egg’! Tomorrow night its ‘Grilled ‘Chicken Wings’ with a Tomato salad.

Last night after supper we settled down to watch “ Happy Valley ”on BBC 1, it was a gripping episode with a startling ending, which sets up next weeks final episode, there are lots of loose ends to tie up with five different story lines all happening, murder, rape, gang warfare, family secrets and vengeance! Who did it! Will they find her? Will the family survive? And finally will the ‘ Fire Bomber ’ strike with her ‘Molatov Cocktail’ and exact vengeance?!  All this is happening in a small town in Yorkshire!  WATCH THIS SPACE!!

During the day Brenda is reading all sorts of books, Anna dropped off some the other day, she has read five so far and I’m going to exchange some on Friday morning when I’m out for the weekly shopping, last night I shot down to the surgery for the appointment with the Chiropodist and made another one for us both in April.

See below the 'Pier Head' in Liverpool last night in all its glory.

And not forgetting the 'Four Lads' !

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
