A OVERCAST & GREY DAMP SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 26th/ APRIL 2015.

No lie in this morning for me but Brenda turned over and stayed in until her service’s were required in the kitchen; after a quick breakfast we got today’s ‘Roast’ on the go “Roast Loin of Pork” marinated in fresh Lemon juice from our next door neighbors ‘Campo’ -  with a savory Mixed Herb Stuffing & finger licking Pan Gravy.

From the vegetable department we have a ‘Bouquetiere of Vegetables’ with local batons of Carrots, whole Green Beans and fresh from our neighbors ‘Campo’ Peas in the Pod, Cabbage with fresh Alselgas from the ‘Campo’ and Cauliflower florets in a three cheese sauce. Of course we are also having Goose Fat Roast Potatoes!

This morning it’s overcast and grey, as forecast, with a little rain but not the storm that we were expecting, tomorrow we are back to normal as it starts to pick up during the week, see the pictures below of Sabinillas this morning, Llandudno and in Southern Snowdonia the ‘Tallyllyn Railway’!

So this means that we are having an at home day doing nothing for a change, next week we are planning to go over to Estepona on Wednesday as we have to call into our Bank to make sure that all our details are up to date under the new Government rules which in come into force on the 1ST May – if they are not your account is frozen! I’m calling into my Barbers, Manuel. to have an inch off and Brenda is doing some retail shopping before we go up to the large Car Hypermarket for coolant and also to check out gas rangers & extraction hoods for our new small back kitchen.

The Football results from yesterday as Liverpool could only draw at West Brom 0-0 Manchester City won at home 3-2 against Aston Villa and over here Barcelona beat Espanyol 0-2.

Last night after supper we neither could nor find anything to watch on the normal channels so we ended up watching on Gibraltar TV ‘GBC’ a romantic crime thriller from 1993 “ True Romance ” with a ‘Helluva’ cast of Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette,Dennis Hopper,Val Kilmer,Gary Oldman,Brad Pitt and Christopher Walken ! The violent shoot-out at the end has to be seen to be believed! The film has attracted a cult following over the years!  No adverts and at the end the full credits!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
