A WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF A 'STORMY' WEEK AHEAD !

MONDAY 16^th/MARCH 2015.

We were up as normal this morning as we were going out a little later, no workmen have arrived and they won’t be back this week as we are in for a prolonged spell of bad weather starting tomorrow; its heavy rain and winds for the rest of the week and over the weekend into next week?! Oh ‘ B----r’!!  It’s unbelievable as today it’s very warn and sunny, we have just come back from a walk with ‘Chispa’ who was waiting for us when we returned from our travels earlier.

I shot around to our butchers and picked up some ‘Calves Liver’ for our supper this evening, I also bought some of his finest diced Beef as tomorrow we are having a ‘Beef & Mushroom Stew with Herb Dumplings’ and at the same time I got some ‘Chicken Wings’ for Thursdays supper.

Before we went out I rang our bank in Estepona to thank the new lady assistant who arranged the refund, I then called Joyce up in Alhaurin el Grande to make the arrangements to meet her for lunch on Wednesday, we are getting together in Puerto Banus and then going along to ‘Cocomo’

On the way down to the garage we called into the small PC shop opposite the ‘Plaza de la Vendimia’ for a new ink cartridge for the printer, the lady in the shop also has some nice ladies fashions on show and in the past Brenda has found some nice things, she did again this morning and came away with a new pair of Black Jeans! A good start to the day!!

We then set off along the coast road past Sotogrande to go to the ‘Media Mart’ hypermarket in the large ‘Poligamo’ behind Algerciras.The Mediterranean was sparkling as we drove along one of our favorite roads along the coast; we then checked out all the PCs & Desk Tops etc and have decided that we prefer the ‘English Computer’ shop in Estepona as his products are far superior and cheaper, closer to home, along with his personal service.

We did come away with something though, a new ‘Samsung’ Microwave’ as you can see in the ‘selfie’ below! The old one has been on its last legs for quite awhile!!

So for supper this evening we are having the ‘Calve Liver’ seared ‘Pink’ on the griddle plate along with crispy Smoked Bacon, sautéed Onions  & ‘Cumberland Sausages ( Iceland)! From the vegetable ‘Queen’ we are having Cabbage with Alselgas and Baby New Potatoes in their skins.See below;

Last night after supper we found a film to watch “Deadfall” from 2012 – a crime drama with Eric Bana,Kris Kristofferson,Sissy Spacek,Charlie Hunnan,Treat Williams & Olivia Wilde – catch it right up to the end!
