A DRY AND SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 24th/ MARCH 2015.

I was up first this morning and welcomed ‘Reina’ being dropped off by Lee for a change as Daniela is changing her work routine; as usual ‘Reina’ shot up to her duvet across the foot of our bed and I followed her shortly for a little lie in as the workmen have not arrived.

The forecast for today was more of the wet stuff so that’s why they haven’t shown up, so far. At the moment its dry and sunny and it looks like the weather forecast has changed for the better, over the next few days is back to normal with clear blue skies and sunshine, getting hotter each day. this means that by the weekend when the ‘Royal’ visit starts the happy couple will have fine sunny weather for their two week stay! Hopefully!!

After our regular breakfast we sorted ourselves out for the day ahead; Brenda has put her washing out again to dry up on the roof terrace as yesterday it got caught in a shower, she was not a happy bunny! I’ shot up to the office and caught up on the WWW,read the newspapers, checked out the Facebook messages, there were some nice family pictures from Australia of Lyn’s great granddaughter’s, Beth, graduation/prom dress.

The picture below shows her with her sister Livi,Mom Kelly and Dad Micheal,the only time we met Micheal was when he came over with his Mum Deb,Lyn;s daughter,he was a very young, 2 year old,noisy, little terror!

I accessed the Bank Account and answered the E-Mails, we had a nice news/update from our dear friends up in Normandy outside Caen, Terry & Alma, they are going down on holiday later in the year with some of their family to ‘La Rochelle as they have hired a villa so I was able to give them a little information about the town and area as when we were broken down in the Winnebago in Lucon we visited the area and stayed in an hotel on the famous fishing harbour.That’s when we saw the German U-Boat Pens featured in the award winning movie ‘Das Boot’ and then stayed on the small island of ‘Il de Re’with some friends.

Brenda rang her hairdresser,Annie,down in Sabinillas and she has fitted her in for the ‘full works tomorrow morning, I will drop her down after ‘Scruffy’ has been dropped off for the day, he loves the car, as Rose has an appointment at a hospital over in Malaga. No doubt ‘Chispa’ will call in a little later and we will then go for a walk with both of the dogs if it keeps dry and sunny.

This evening for our supper I’m ‘cheating’ as the individual ‘Steak & Kidney Puddings’ are bought (Iceland)! I will steam them as normal and we are having them served on a pool of my famous finger licking Gravy with some Mushy Peas, whole Baby Carrots and Brenda’s famous Mashed Potato on the side! Then tomorrow morning while Brenda is down at the hairdresser I’m making tomorrow nights supper of ‘Chicken Curry’ to my own recipe, honest!

We will then find something to watch after the news; a lot of the regular programmes are starting again at this time of the year. last night is was the Spanish ‘La Voz – The Voice’ and ‘Master chef’ is due back shortly.

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
