A CRISP AND SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 8th/ JANUARY 2015.

I was up again early this morning as ‘Reina’ was due for the day, she came with a new larger duvet which we are going to keep here for her; as usual she shot upstairs and went to bed straight away with Brenda, as I did also! 'Charlie'' is in fine voice this morning after I took his cover off the cage, he is now asking 'Where's Brenda?' all the time! This evening he's just said his first 'Where's Malcolm?' !!

Today it’s fine and sunny but a little crisp before the sun takes affect, the weekend is looking good and into the start of next week also. We had our usual breakfast and then we shot along to the chemists for some of our tablet prescriptions.

Its an at home day today after all the excitement of yesterdays lunch out over in Puerto Banus with Joyce, we had a lovely lunch with a dear friend, the weather was a bonus; safe journey back to Chester tomorrow, we are already looking forward to seeing you next time, Joyce is also going to send us a postcard – to all our family and friends all over the world don’t forget to send us a post card for 2015! You get one back by return post!!

Tomorrow morning we are shooting down to Sabinillas for a quick shop as at noon we are taking Andy & Maria across to the bus station in Marbella, in his car as they are flying to England for the week. On the way back we are calling into San Pedro De Alcantara for some night lights from one of Brenda’s favorite shops and will also at the same time take a look and some pictures of the new 6 million Euro ‘Plaza’ which has just been opened above the new tunnel!

So for supper this evening it’s my own recipe of “Frittata – Spanish Omelet” made with Onions, Potatoes and Garden Peas and garnished with sautéed Baby Mushrooms and a Mixed salad then tomorrow we are having dry griddled Hake fillets and on Saturday is going to be a ‘Steak & Baked Potato’ before on Sunday we have having Turkey Breast with Basmati rice. We are considering trying the new ‘Fast Diet’ as I’m reading good reports as well as some personal recommendations – watch this space! This evenings supper,see below;

After supper we will settle down to watch the news, sport and weather updates before channel hopping to find something to watch.

This is what the Red 'Fiesta' thinks it is!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
