A DRY & FRESH SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 25th/ NOVEMBER 2019    “ CYBER MONDAY “

I was up early this morning to see little ‘ Miss Bella’ back with us for the day, she’s also back tomorrow, she shot upstairs and settled on our bed, we then all had a nice lie in, in fact we overslept as the village was very quiet, ‘ Scruffy’ is joining us for a sleep-over on Thursday, in ‘Doggy World Heaven’  as Adrian has an early appointment as the ‘Costa Del Sol Hospital’ on Friday morning.

After freshening up I was on the breakfast rota, so I had my favourite ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butty’ – smothered  in ‘ HP’ Brown sauce – open on brown for Brenda, with finely sliced Baby Mushrooms sautéed in the bacon juices with a knob of Butter, for Brenda, some of which made into my ‘ Butty’! Mugs of hot/strong tea helped to wash them down.

I then shot down to the underground car park and found my spot ( No 100) vacant, I parked our car back on our reserved place and then came back up to the Town Hall to check with the relevant department, they confirmed my booking and told me that they will call in December to arrange for the payment, watch this space.  ‘” RESULT “

This morning it’s dry & ‘ Fresh’ as there is a stiff/cold breeze blowing up from the Mediterranean, the sky is clearing slowly and by lunchtime it’s forecast to reach 18 degs+ and sunny, tomorrow staying the same , going up to 20 degs+ -  overnight down to 12/13 degs, the rest of the week and over the coming weekend it’s hovering in the high ‘teens’ – with sunshine and patchy clouds, next week is at the moment looking dry but a little cooler, as the next cold ‘ Atlantic’ front comes in, watch this space.

On Wednesday morning we are going to call into the main ‘Medical Centre’ down in Sabinillas to see what we can do about a new Doctor, after losing Natalia, we are then coming back along the cost road to Pueblo Guadiaro to the ‘ Iceland Supermarket ‘ for our ‘ Xmas Essentials’ – while the ‘ Black Friday’ 50% offers are still on! As usual on Friday morning I will be out on my travels back down to Sabinillas for our weekly shopping etc.

We are not celebrating our 48th Wedding Anniversary on Friday as we are going out for a ‘Roast’ lunch on Sunday at ‘Venta Thai Fusion’ past Sotogrande, for the first time, it comes highly recommended, watch this space

For our supper this evening we are having cold/sliced ‘ Roast Loin of Pork’ – we love ‘ cold-cuts’ of Roast Meats, with all the leftover Vegetables & Potatoes, tomorrow it’s going to be ‘ Escalopes of Chicken Breast’ - then on Wednesday I’m going to make a ‘Beef & Vegetable Casserole’ using sliced Beef Entrecote, Thursday will be a find something in the fridge day and then on Friday a ‘ Fish Supper’ before our usual ‘ Steak Night’ on Saturday, watch this space.

We are taking things for the rest of day, relaxing and staying warm, yesterday lunchtime we popped along to ‘ Bar Castillo’ and sat outside in the sunshine with a bright blue sky above, taking in the sights & sounds of sunny Manilva as the ‘World’ passed us by, with cool drinks & ‘Tapas’ of the ‘House Paella' Later we will catch up with all the ‘Quiz Shows’ that we follow, after supper channel hopping to find something to watch.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
