A VERY HOT AND MUGGY SUNNY MANILVA ON THURSDAY;

THURSDAY 17th/ JULY 2014.

I was up bright and breezy this morning as ‘Princess Reina’ was being dropped off by Daniela for the day; in two weeks time Daniela is getting married to Lee in Gibraltar and then a ‘White’ wedding the next day back here so little ‘Reina’ will be spending some time with us. See the picture below of Reina sat on my secretaries chair in the office next to the PCs.

Yesterday as Rose was picking Scruffy’ up she asked us if it was at all possible that we would be able to have him over this Christmas, she wants to make arrangements to go back to the UK to see her children and grandchildren, so we said yes straight away as he’s no problem and a joy to have him with us! He is going to bring his ‘Winter House/Kennel’ with him (it’s made of foam!) with his special bed but not his paddling pool!!

This morning after breakfast I shot along to ‘Café/Bar Ocana’ to take the final pictures of the Art Exhibition as you can see above; I’ve also posted above a selection of pictures from yesterdays “Virgen Del Carmen festivities as the two tableaus where carried through the streets and then out to sea.Thank’s to my very able assistant reporters/photographers Den & Josie, Antonia the Mayor and Gary from the Resident newspaper!

So this afternoon I will be following the ‘Tour De France on stage 12 which starts in ‘ Bourg-en-Bresse’and finishes in ‘Saint Entienne’ as it crosses the ‘Rhone/Loire Region’

Today it’s very ‘Muggy’ after yesterdays high temperatures as it reached 48degs in Cordoba! Down here on the coast its looking like that we will have more of the same to come for the next few weeks a least as they start to post fire warnings inland and all the regions go on alert.See the weather chart for today above.

Tonight we are having ‘Omelets’ for supper, Cheese for Brenda and Mushroom for me with Diamond-cut Green Beans and dry sautéed thick-cut Baked Potato; we will then watch the next episodes of Mr Selfridge’ – last night is was the semi-final of the ‘Spanish Master Chef ’

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
