A SEA MIST OVER SUNNY MANILVA ON WEDNESDAY;

WEDNESDAY 9th/ JULY 2014.

Well this morning we have woken to a thick sea mist over sunny Manilva and down in Sabinillas, the ‘Mediterranean’ has disappeared – for now! No doubt the sun will brake through later as the forecast is very good for the next few days and getting hotter.

After breakfast we are having a nice leisurely morning getting ourselves ready for our lunch with the ‘Queen of Skelton’ and her ‘Consort’ around at their summer residence, well their roof top apartment actually, yesterday they made a 'State' visit to Estepona which turned out to be an ‘Epic Adventure’ for the ‘Royal Couple’ – the ‘Consort’ ended up carrying a carpet back on his shoulder – very un-royal! We will of course arrive bearing gifts to start the day off in the way that they are accustomed too!  See the pictures later taken by the local ‘ Paparazzi’

We have just had a very nice relaxing lunch up on the terrace,as you can see; we took a nice chilled bottle of 'Cava Rosado' with some Tapas to go with Josie's,for our main course we had the 'House' Paella and to follow Josie's famous 'Key Lime Pie' - thanks to both - see you on Sunday if not before!

So later this afternoon I will watch the 5th stage of the ‘Tour De France’ from ‘Ypres to ‘Arenberg Porte Du Hainaut’ which at one time crosses over into Belgium before coming back onto the cobblestones of Northern France at the end of the stage !

NEWSFLASH; Chris Froome,last years winner has crashed out of the Tour in atrocious conditions when the roads lived up to their name 'The Hell of the North' as the skies opened!

Then this evening its time for the second semi-final of the ‘World Cup’ from Brazil when Argentina take on Holland.Argentina won when their keeper saved two penalties !!

PS; News just in from Australia,Jack and Lyn have reached Kalgoorlie in Western Australia and are then heading to Adelaide - more to follow after we confirm the details and route??!!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
