WARM AND SUNNY MANILVA ON SUNDAY;

SUNDAY 9th/ MARCH 2014.

We had another nice lie in this morning then the breakfast chef was on top form as she produced freshly squeed Orange juice, Weetabix, a beautiful Poached Egg on toast and a mug of steaming tea as you can see in the picture above! What a life!!

It’s a nice easy day as we are not roasting today, this evenings supper is flattened ‘Breast of Turkey’ pan-fried in foaming Lemon Butter with a savory Basmati Rice made with diced Red & Green Peppers, diamond-cut Green Beans and a rich and creamy Mushroom sauce on the side!

Over in Sydney the ‘Gang of Four’ are on their last day in Australia; last night they went out to the revolving tower in Sydney for their last supper!

At lunchtime after washing our hair and showering we went for a walk withe dog,we sat for a short while on the new seat's in the new small Plaza in Calle Mar- we then bumped into our friend Antonio who was out for his first walk after his last fall,still on crutches, he asked us to join him for some lunch back at Bar Rojas so we joined him for some of Lumy's Paella.

This afternoon I will watch the England v Wales rugby from Twickenham either on BBCTV live or on the ‘First Row’ sports channel – which ever has the best connection on the large PC in the office; yesterday evening we caught all the football highlights on ‘Quatro’ from England as Chelsea demolished Spurs 4-0 and even Manchester Utd. won 0-3,in the German ‘Bundesliga’ “Pep’s” Bayern Munich won 1-6 and went 23 points clear at the top! Over here it was bad news as Barcelona cold not score and at the same time played terrible as they lost 1-0 and dropped down to 3rd in ‘La Liga’

England beat Wales 29-18 - the score flatters Wales who were out-payed except in the scrum?! England gave away SIX penalties! Manchester City lost at home to Wigan 1-2 who now meet Arsenal in the semi-final of the'FA Cup' Over here Real Madrid won 3-0 and are top of 'La Liga'

After supper we watched the news and sports results before channel hopping and then watching a film called “Shoot’Em Up” from 2007 – the title says it all as in this action/black comedy Clive Owen shoots every ‘Baddie’ he sees, most of the time with a baby in his arms or strapped on his back –honest! I lost count after 100 ! Monica Bellucci, does not shoot anyone but Paul Giamatti does!!

Thoughts fro the Day; See above.
