A ' FRESH' AND WARM & SUNNY MANILVA ON ' SHOVE' TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 25th/ FEBRUARY 2020.       “ SHOVE TUESDAY “

We all managed another nice lie in this morning, ‘ Chico’ as usual slept all night on his duvet at the foot of our bed, he then waits, very patiently,  as we freshen up, before Brenda takes him out for his first walk of the day, he’s now with us until a week on Friday,  tomorrow morning I will be up very early as ‘ Nacho & Baby Chris’ are due to be dropped off for the day, they are being collected later in the evening, then on Thursday evening ‘ Lolo’ is due to be dropped off for his two week holiday.

For our breakfast we had fresh fruit ( Banana ) toast & tea, I then shot down to our local Butchers in ‘Calle Iglasie’ for some of his excellent ‘ Estofado de Carne – Diced Stewing Beef ’ for tomorrow’s ‘ Beef & Vegetable Stew/Scouse ‘ I also picked up some ‘ Chicken Wings’ for another day.

This morning It’s ‘ Fresh’ and sunny, the sky is cloudless and blue, there is a light breeze, so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 19/20 degs+ - overnight down on the 10/11 degs mark, over the next few days it’s staying the same, warm & sunny with a few patchy clouds, hovering in the high ‘ teens, - over the weekend a little unsettled but still warm & sunny, next week is now looking even a little warmer, up to 21 degs+ by next Tuesday, with mainly a settled week, with lots of sunshine and hovering at all times in the high ‘ teens’ – just on one forecast it’s showing a little of the ‘ Wet-Stuff’ on a couple of days, watch this space.

Meanwhile over in Liverpool this morning the new ‘ Virgin Voyages ‘ adults-only cruise liner, the “ Scarlet Lady “  has steamed up the River Mersey and berthed at the Pier Head , before she sets off to New York and Miami and around the Caribbean on her maiden 37 day tour.

This evening for our supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks’ garnished with seared Pineapple Rings & Baby Mushrooms and topped with a ‘ Campo Fried Egg! Not forgetting the Garden Peas and of course the triple-cook ‘ Chips’ and ‘ HP’ Brown sauce on the side.

For our dessert it’s going to be ‘ Crepes a la Mode ‘ – very thin folded pancakes, dusted with sugar & Lemon Juice and accompanied with fresh/local Strawberries and Vanilla Ice Cream!

Over in Everett, Ontario, Canada, the folks, last night, were dining on fresh/local ‘ Lobsters’ – as you can see below!

After supper we will settle down to watch the next episode of  “ The Split “ as the family of lady lawyers, a mother and her three daughters, battle in divorce cases as well as all their family problems.

Thoughts for the Day;  See above.
