A VERY ' CLOSE' & SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY.

TUESDAY 3rd/ SEPTEMBER 2019.

I was up early this morning to welcome back little ‘ Miss Bella’ for the  day, but received a massage from Leah to say that she would not be dropping her off until 10-00 am-ish! Next week ‘Miss Bella’ is with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ on Monday/Tuesday and then she is here for her first sleep-over, for three days from next Friday!

So I went back to bed for a short lie in, we then had our usual quick freshen up before breakfast, as I was on the rota I had my favourite ‘ Toasted Crispy Smoked Bacon Butty’- smothered in ‘HP’ Brown sauce, Brenda had brown toast with ‘Crispy Smoked Bacon’ ( open) with a slice of warm Chorizo, with mugs of hot/strong ‘PG’ Tips Tea.

Overnight we had another ‘ sticky’ sleepless time, as its only dropped down to 22 degs+ - this morning has started a little grey & overcast, with a few patchy clouds, still very close, the breeze is light and so by lunchtime it’s due to reach 28 degs+ - as the sky clears and the sun brakes through, the rest of the week is looking the same, going a little cooler each day as the breeze stiffens, down to 24 degs by Sunday, next week is forecast to go warmer, back up to the high 20s, by the following wing weekend, watch this space.

See below a few pictures of North Wales and the mountains of ‘Snowdonia’ – summer & winter – at their finest, as we remember them from back in 1971, the year that we were married and started our life together at the ‘World’ famous ‘ Pen Y Gwryd Hotel ‘ –  at the foot of Mount Snowdon, the training base for Sir Edmund Hillary’s successful climb, back in 1953, to the top of Mount Everest!

This evening for our supper we are keeping it very simple, ‘ Cold Sliced Smoked Ham’ – with ‘ Campo’ Fried Eggs & triple-cooked ‘ Chips’ Tomorrow is still TBC, then on Thursday we are going to give the ‘ staff’ the night off, depending if ‘ Bar Castillo’ is open!

We are now back into all our regular ‘ Quiz Shows ‘ in the afternoon/ early evening, “ Countdown, Tipping Point, The Chase, Pointless, Eggheads, Master Mind,  A Question of Sport, University Challenge & Only Connect “ – all on at different times & days!

Yesterday evening we started to watch a new series of a true story “ A Confession “ – when a young girl goes missing after leaving a club, the Police must move fast, to have any chance of finding her alive, with a ‘ Mega’ cast of Martin Freeman, Imelda Staunton & Siobhan Finneran, one not to be missed!
