SUNNY AND A VERY HOT MANILVA THIS MONDAY

MONDAY 19th/ AUGUST 2013.

A quiet day at home today taking things easy is called for after the weekend’s festivities! Brenda is pottering and washing and I’ am catching up on the WWW. We are going for a short walk soon before it gets too hot as we are missing going out with dog around the village; watch out for the pictures later. We have just got back and are very hot and damp - there was no shade and we of course remembered why we don't go for walks at this time of the year!!

The forecast is very good for the week and Brenda is planning to go down on the early bus on Tuesday for her beach stroll and at the same time get her mobile checked out again as its still not working correctly! We also need some more ‘Patterson’s’ to read from the English bookshop.

This evening for supper we are having Minute Steak and chips with salad for supper and we will them settle down to catch up with all the news, especially about the ‘ Natives’ getting restless around Gibraltar, yesterday the fishing fleet from La Linea caused havoc as two large cruise liners were in dock! I’am following it on the live web-cam from the border crossing and in the TV News as on Wednesday we taking Di to the airport using my new route in for the first time – fingers crossed!

PS;This evening its Manchester City v Newcastle, City with their new manager Pellegrini kick off their season with £100,million's worth of new talent - Navas.Negreno,Fermandinho and Jovetic ?! 4-0 to City and looking good!

Thought for the Day; See above.
