CASA OLIMPIA- MINUS DAY ONE.

Monday 15th June 2009.

Sadly it was time to say goodbye to Jack and Lyn; we had to be up at 6-00am to get them to the airport in Malaga, which is over one hundred miles away from Tarifa! On the way we talked a lot about both sides of the family, which is now one big happy family and reminisced about the last ten days when we have become even closer to Jack and Lyn, Brenda has loved being with Lyn, for so long, and they have not stopped giggling, like school girls, since Lyn got off the plane! Jack is as I have said before a fine Australian gentleman and has a wicked sense of humor and has a very good appetite,he ate every thing that we put before him! At the same time he acquired a taste for Cruz Campo, first in the small Spanish size bottles and later graduated to the pint size ones! Australian tasters as he calls them !! At the airport we wished the couple health and happiness for the future, they are perfect together, and then said “Au Revoir ”until the next time that we will see them.
On the way back we called into our bank in Estepona and then went up to our house in Manilva to pick up a few things that we left behind when we had to go across to Casa Olimpia, last week. We picked up some fresh vegetables and also called into the English butchers, the Calves Liver had just arrived and we could not resist the temptation! The villa is very quiet and we are missing the folks already. The picture below shows Brenda on the lounger on the balcony, the same one that she caught Jack and Lyn on last week, after returning from our early start- AH !!
