MONT ST MICHEL

Went for another visit to Mont St Michel this time to see the four
museums, the first one being Maritime and Ecology which commenced
with an audio presentation (we English were given headphones translating
it for us) then a tour to learn about the biggest tides in the world,also special
exhibits of 250 old model boats. There was a collection of weapons and
instuments of torture and Loius X1's iron cage and 1000 years of history
and prisons in another one ,then an Archeoscope (a visual and musical display)
about the dicoveryof M.ST.M and then Tiphaine's House ,the home of
Bertrand Du Guesclin and Tiphaine of Raguenel (13th/14th century) exhibits
in all the rooms of pictures and furnishings, four poster bed and a wax figure
of her in all her glory and finally a display of 35 wax figures animated by famous
French actors going back through the history.
