A VERY WET MONDAY IN SUNNY MANILVA AT THE START OF THE WEEK;

MONDAY 19^th OCTOBER 2015.

I was up early this morning as I had an appointment at the surgery with our Doctor for a check up and to upgrade some tablet prescriptions at the same time,I have to go for a chest X-Ray over in Estepona on Wednesday morning as I’ve been having some discomfort with a chest pain, from time to time,it’s in the middle and goes through to my back?

After a grabbing a quick cup of tea I set off ready for the wet stuff to arrive, it did and it’s now coming down with a vengeance! On the way back I called into the chemist’s in Calle Mar.

The heavy rain is with us for the next couple of days with severe flooding in parts around Manilva; we will find out later today about the weather forecast for the rest of the week.

As Andy was with us last night for supper he was checking out my new computer system and the found the missing ‘ Apostrophe’ as you can see! ‘! It’s was hiding under the question mark in lower case!!

This week in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ we are rather busy,on Tuesday,Thursday & Saturday ‘Reina’ is with us and on Thursday morning ‘Barny & Maisie’ are arriving for the first time for a short 4 day brake/sleep over!

This evening for our supper we are having the rest of last nights Braised Steak with fry-up of the leftover vegetables & potatoes, we are having our weekly menu planning meeting at lunchtime. Watch this space.

Last night after supper we watched the “ X-Factor” for the first time, we have never seen it before! Then we caught the first new episode of “ Downton Abbey” with the gory ‘Alien’ blood scene at the end!

We are of course still having our daily ‘Happy Hour’ in the lounge but don’t manage must reading as the light is not good,it reminds me that the clocks go back an hour this coming Saturday/ Sunday so it will be even darker in the late afternoon!

This week we are going to use the “ Putlocker” channel to find a good film to watch on the main TV; yesterday afternoon I watched the ‘Rugby Union World Cup’ on ITV as First Ireland lost and then Scotland were robbed!
