SUNNY AND WARM MANILVA AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND;

FRIDAY 15th/ NOVEMBER 2013.

This morning after our tea & toast we went down to Sabinillas for our shopping; we called into the garage and topped up the petrol ready for next week as will have a little running around to do with Tim! Yet again today the sun is out and the skies are clear, by lunchtime its warm – still a bit of the wet stuff around over the weekend but the start of next week is dry but a little cooler!

I called into the bank and Brenda went to the fruit & vegetables market, picked up the papers from the English bookshop, we then did our main shop in ‘Mercadona’ and then went to ‘Super Sol’ for our English bits and pieces. Brenda after unpacking at the house went down to the local market for fresh flowers and some fresh Alselgas; meanwhile I went to the butchers and got our steak for Saturday night and some lovely English cut Pork Chops for our Monday night supper with Tim.

Tonight for supper we are having Deep-Fried ‘Panga’ Fillets in ‘Cruz Campo’ Batter with Mushy Peas and crisp square twice-cooked chips and some Homemade Tartar sauce on the side.

It’s another big weekend of sport starting tonight with the ‘International Friendlies’ England v Chile and on Monday they play GermanySpain play Equatorial Guinea?! on Saturday and then South Africa on Tuesday. Tomorrow it’s the big Rugby Union game at Twickenham when England take on the ‘All Blacks’ – down in Cardiff at the Millennium stadium Wales play Argentina. Also this weekend over in Austin Texas it’s the ‘USA Grand Prix’ at the ‘Circuit of the Americas

England 0 - Chile 2 - England played terrible !!

After supper this evening we will watch the news and weather before we find a film to watch.
