SUNNY AND CRISP MANILVA ON DAY FOUR OF THE KINGS VISIT;

THURSDAY 21st/ NOVEMBER 2013.

This morning for breakfast we had Brenda’s famous Poached Campo Eggs on toast to set the ‘King’ up for the rest of his day ahead! I then dropped Tim down at John’s villa were he was meeting up with another of his golf-buddies and coming back to the ‘Duquesa Golf & Country Club’ to shoot some balls on the golf range. Later they are helping John move some of his stuff into his new apartment just past the golf club as he has rented his villa out with a view to buy!

Meanwhile back in the ‘Palace’ we are preparing tonight’s ‘Banquet’- Roast Tarragon Marinated Lamb Cutlets’ resting on a bed of Boulangere Potatoes with Cauliflower & Broccoli florets in a ‘Five’ Cheeses sauce, diamond-cut Green Beans and mixed Baby Carrots & Garden Peas; to start we are having shallow fried bread crumbed Prawns with a savory Marie-Rose dipping sauce and for dessert its either local Fresh Fruit or a choice of light sweet dishes i.e.; Crème Caramel or Jelly with Vanilla Ice Cream! A fine Rioja will be chosen later by his ‘Majesty’ to accompany tonight’s feast!

Earlier this morning I checked the ‘Royal Limousine’ for Oil and Coolant as its getting a bit of the run-around down here on the ‘Costa Del Sol’ Golf’ Mano and Anna have just called in so we have arranged for them to join the ‘Royal Party’ for Saturdays mornings ‘Brunch Extravaganza’ Tomorrow’s arrangements include a round of golf at the ‘Casares Golf Club’ – then later we are having ‘Cruz Campo Beer Battered’ Panga Goujons with Mushy Peas and Square crisp chips before we go back up to the Brasserie later at the Casares Golf Club for an evening of ‘Karaoke?!’ under the direction of John Jones !!
