SUNNY AND HOT MANILVA ON THURSDAY

THURSDAY 19th/ SEPTEMBER 2013.

Well it’s another fine, sunny hot day with a little breeze which is just right; after our tea and toast we walked down to the garage to pick the car up, the new wing mirror has been fitted, the fuel pump installed and the door trims on both sides will be back in tomorrow after the glue sets!

We then went down to Sabinillas to the bank, called into ‘Super Sol’ for some English goods, stopped at the Chinese Bazaar for some plastic containers and finally gave the car a jet wash in the garage, it dries straight away as it so hot! We are now parked in the underground car park beneath the police station.

Brenda is now going to wash her hair as we are out tomorrow evening at the council presentation down in the ‘Castillo de la Duquesa’ I’ am upstairs in the office catching up with WWW – reading the newspapers on-line, checking the e-mails and updating Facebook.

We are having a nice relaxing day at home and later will be reading during our ‘Happy Hour’ and listening to some music – loud!

On the sports front, yesterday over in San Francisco the New Zealand team won another race but the second one was delayed by high winds again! It means that they only have to win on more race and they lift the ‘America’s Cup!’

Today in the ‘Tour of Britain’ stage 5 it goes from Machynlleth to Caerphilly over 177kms.The stage was won by Sam Bennett? and Wiggins holds onto the 'GOLD' jersey.

Tonight for supper are having, guess what? ‘Chicken Pie’ and Chips!! We will then find something to watch as we don’t always watch films; there are lots of Wild Life programmes, Documentry’s and of course different series to follow.

Thought for the Day’ See above.
