SATURDAY 14th/

As we got
up this morning it was cloudy and overcast but still warm, with any luck we
could just miss the wet stuff later; after breakfast of fresh fruit, tea and
toast I’ am up in the office trying to get a connection to watch ‘Saturday
Morning Kitchen’ with no luck at the moment! ( Got it after nearly 1 hour of
trying!) Later I’ am making a bowl of ‘Ensaladilla Rusa’( Made) for the weekend and a
stock of Tomato salsa(Made) for next week.
In fact it was so nice that we were able to go up on the roof terrace for our 'Happy Hour' !

On the
sports front I will be watching the qualifying for the ‘Motor GP’ for the ‘San
Marino Grand Prix’ - Dominet Marquez takes the pole position in Misano and then later the next to last stage of the
‘Vuelta 2013’ which is going to be a classic, it starts in Aviles on the coast
of Asturias and ends up at the top of the ‘Alto de L’Angliru’ in the Sierra
Decaram region for the sixth time in the history of the tour; the ‘Olympus of
Cycling’is one ‘Helluva’ climb as you can see in the relief map above, Horner
and Nibali will fight for the Red jersey!
And yes they did just that; the winner of the stage was the French rider Kenny Slissonde but Chris Horner was second and left Nibali behind on the climb through the mist and now leads the tour by 37 seconds and takes the RED jersey going into tomorrows final stage! See the pictures above.

place with England v Croatia and Spain v Ukriane, Spain are already through to the next round and England lead as they go into tomorrows matches - plus any other news that comes

The final score at Everton v Chelsea, 1-0 to the 'Toffees' - Big Bri will be a very happy bunnie this evening over in Pori, even more so because Lilli is learning to Pole Dance !! I've sent her a booking request !!
Later this evening over here in 'La Liga' Gareth Bale scored in his first game for Real Madrid but they could only manage a 2-2 draw with Villarreal! Meanwhile in the Barcelona v Sevilla match it ended 3-2 to Barcelona after they gave away a two goal lead and then scored in the 4th minute of injury time!!

Brenda is
pottering about getting things on the go as we sort ourselves out for the
weekend ahead; tonight we are having ‘Steak a la Plancha’ with all the usual
trimmings and tomorrow its ‘Fish Pie’night.which is a bit of a production to
say the least! Four sorts of fish ready,Salmon,Hake,Cod and Rosada,Gambas peeled,Crab ready!
Later after
supper we will try and find a film to watch. We found a Clint Eastwood,produced,directed and starring himself movie called " Gran Torino " from 2008 - the title refers to his car in the story - it won many awards world-wide but strangely was not nominated for any 'Oscars' ?! Catch it if you can as it is a very moving story.
