Over the
last four days I have been watching on TDP,the main sports channel, live
coverage of the 93rd ‘Tour of Catalonia’ It starts and finishes in
Barcelona on Sunday after 7 stages, today’s 4th stage of 216kms
ended on the on the ‘Port Aine Rialp’ Sir Bradley Wiggins and the Sky team are
taking part along with many other ‘Tour de France’ riders; the winner today was the Irish rider Daniel Martin who also took over the leaders ‘White’ jersey – Wiggins is 4th
in the standings at the moment! The pictures above were taken from our large
screen TV in the lounge and show the high Pyrenees at their best. Excellent coverage from the
helicopters with the Spanish commentator giving lots of information and all the
on-screen titles in the ‘Catalan Language’ !!
