MONDAY 20th/
MAY 2013.
This
morning the weather is fine but it has still not got any warmer – 20degs. We
are having an at home day and taking things easy, which means that Brenda has
the washing and drying on the go; meanwhile I’ am as you can see in the office
catching up with WWW and the blog.The dog came crashing in earlier than usual
this morning, last night she came up just as we were stating our dinner and
knocked on the door, she shakes herself against the shutters and stands up and
bangs! Brenda says that she smelt that dinner was ready!
Later this
morning Anna called in as she had locked herself out of her house when Mano
went off to work with both sets of keys! So we had a good catch-up with all the
news and gossip – she then went off to Sally Ann’s house for another cup of tea
and sympathy!
Today is a
rest day in the ‘Giro d’Italia’ – tomorrow’s stage 16 is still in the Alps as
they cross from France back to Italy from Valloire to the Col du Mont Cenis at
Ivrea over 238kms. – weather,snow permitting. Watch this space.
Tonight we
are having the cold Roast Lamb for supper and will then watch a film after
channel hopping.
