MANILVA AT THE START OF THE WEEKEND AND MALAGA ON THURSDAY.

FRIDAY 14TH/ DECEMBER 2012.

Up bright and early again as I had an appointment at the Hospital over in Estepona for an X-ray ready for my prostrate check up in January; the department is run by just one man, he is very efficient and is always on time, my appointment was for 10-14 and I went in at 10-13 ,came out at 10-15 and two minutes later he gave me the X-ray! Result! We then came back to Sabinillas for our regular shopping at Mercadona and Super Sol; we called into the Chinese bazaar for some cereal bowls and picked up the papers from the book shop before we shot back up the hill to Manilva.We then walked down to the local market by the sports complex for flowers and more Poinsettias, we gave some of them to our local neighbours and the rest are around the house and one is in the outside window box! Mano and Anna called in to pick up their papers and Mano had a look at my on-line banking on the PC which is not working, no joy so we are going across to our bank in Estepona on Monday morning with Mano to sort things out, both our cards are working OK !

In the evening we had Sausage, Egg and chips for supper as we had them out ready for supper on Thursday evening but were too full, so no fish on Friday for Brenda! Later we caught a very good film, British made, called “ The Fourth Angel ”from 2001 with Jeremy Irons, Timothy West, Charlotte Rampling and the excellent Forest Whitaker in the role this time of an FBI agent; it starts from nothing and ends up very watchable – catch it!

Above is another picture blog from our day out in Malaga; it starts with the ‘ Le Jardin ’old Flamenco bar next to the Cathedral then some pictures of Malaga city center before we went, by the Malaga Football ground, to visit the Science Museum. Later after lunch we went to the Popular Arts Museum ,we did not know what to expect but it turned out to be very interesting.

Thoughts for the Day;

The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows. Education is the movement from darkness to light.
