A VERY OVERCAST & DAMP SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 21^st/NOVEMBER 2016.

I  was up early this morning to see little princess ‘ Reina’ back with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’ – she’s here for four days this week as we are out tomorrow on our travels; we had our usual breakfast of ‘ Weetabix’ fresh fruit, toast & tea before sorting ourselves out for the week ahead.

Tomorrow we are going across to the Hospital, first thing in the morning, for Brenda’s second ‘ Kidney Ecogram’ – then on the way back we are going to call into ‘Leroy Merlin’ above Marbella to look for a small oil heater for the main guest bedroom, we are then carrying on along the coast , past Sabinillas, to Sotogrande, to go to ‘ Iceland’ for our ‘Xmas Essentials ’etc.

Overnight the rains arrived, the temperatures have dropped by 5 degs at the same time, this morning it’s grey & overcast with heavy rain storms, it looks like we are in for a prolonged week of more of the same, we will find later this afternoon on the main weather forecast on  ‘ TVE 1’ what’s in store for us?!

I shot out in between the showers to our local Bank for some cash from the machine, I carried on down to our Butchers, I bought ‘ Chueltas de Cordero –Lamb Cutlets’ for tomorrow night’s supper and some of his excellent ‘ Braising Steak’ for Wednesday nights meal, I also ordered a ' Rib of Beef ' for Boxing Day, this evening we are having ‘Grilled Chicken Fillets’- taken off the Breast’s that we use, they are flattened and then seasoned before grilling, Garden Peas & twice-cooked ‘ Frits’ on the side.

Brenda has been on the exercise bicycle this morning and I’m going on later, we have now worked out how it works, it’s in the ‘ chill out’ room, at the moment Brenda is getting the house ready for our guest, Gillian, arriving this weekend, the shutters being repaired/replaced and the painting have made a big difference, we have still not yet decided where to go for our Sunday ‘Roast’ Lunch, watch this space.

Yesterday evening after supper we watched the ‘ ATP World Tour Finals’ from the 02 Arena as Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic and at the same time became the World Number One! It was a ‘Helluva’ game as finally Andy overcame the ‘Serb’!
