A SETTLED & CLEAR SUNNY MANILVA ON TUESDAY;

TUESDAY 15th/ NOVEMBER 2016.

We had a little lie in this morning as ‘ Reina’ is not with us today, Brenda showered first and I’m having mine later, we had breakfast, Brenda just had brown toast and I had a ‘ Fried Egg toasted Butty ‘ – we then sorted ourselves out for the next few days, this afternoon we are going across to the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ just past Marbella as Brenda has an appointment for her ‘ Kidney Ecogram’ – on the way back we are popping into ‘La Cañada’ to exchange my ‘PJs’ for a smaller pair!

Tomorrow morning I’m going around to the surgery for my check up/review with our Doctor re: my  ‘Prostrate’ results, then on Thursday evening we are back at the Hospital for Brenda’s appointment with the ‘Kidney Consultant’ with hopefully a diagnose of all her results, watch this space.

This morning started a little grey & overcast but it’s now picking up, the sun is breaking through and the sky is clear, there is just a little breeze and by lunchtime it’s due to reach 21/22 degs, The Atlantic front is approaching slowly from across Portugal bringing in a little change in the weather, watch this space.

See the picture below of the beach down in Sabinillas this morning.

This evening for our supper we are having ‘ Grilled Gammon Steaks ‘ topped with Fried Eggs, still not ‘ Campo’ as our local supplier's hens are not producing at the moment ?! Garden Peas & twice-cooked ‘ Chips’ on the side with ‘ HP’ Brown sauce. The rest of the week’s menu’s are TBC.

Yesterday evening we had a Quiz night watching the various channels before catching over on ‘ Channel Five’ – ‘ Chris Tarrant: Extreme Railways ‘ – this week he explored the route of a mind-bogglingly ambitious railway pioneered by the controversial 19th British Colonialist, Cecil Rhodes. It goes from Cape Town and travels 1500 miles across South Africa, Botswana and into Zimbabwe to the Victoria Falls. He started on the famous ‘ Blue Train’ – the most luxurious train journey in the world, then he changed to the goods routes and finally onto the ‘ R&R’ – ‘Rhodesian Railways ‘ – the most erratic run railways in the world!

Thoughts for the Day; See above.
