A VERY CRISP & SUNNY MANILVA ON MONDAY AT THE START OF THE WEEK.

MONDAY 7^th/ NOVEMBER 2016.

I was up first this morning to welcome ‘Reina’ back with us for the day, she’s here for just four days this week as we are out at the ‘ Costa Del Sol Hospital’ past Marbella on Wednesday for the morning! We then went out for a walk around the top of the village with ‘ Pax’ – he’s with us for another day as Jane has some appointments after her return from Canada, he’s now being collected tomorrow afternoon, no problem, as we love having him here with us in ‘ Doggy World Heaven’!

We went to the top of the village so as I could call into the local Surgery, to make appointments for our ‘ Gripe – Anti-Flu Jabs ‘ – I was there before 10-30am, when the reception is closed for a break, the receptionist was already starting to close and would not fit me in, the computer was still on and it only takes a minute?! ‘Grr!!

Overnight the temperatures have dropped by 10 degs, this morning the sun is out, the sky is blue and there is just a little breeze, ‘ Crisp’ is the description for now! We find out later what the week ahead has in store for us, we put a blanket on the bed last night, we can’t complain as it’s the first time in over 8 months that we have had covers over us!!

This evening we are having the rest of the ‘ Smoked Chicken & Three Green Bean Risotto’ for our supper, tomorrow I’m going to make my famous ‘ Chicken, Mushroom & Smoked Bacon ‘Tarragon’ Casserole’ then on Wednesday evening it’s going to be the ‘ Beef Curry’ – out of the deep freeze.

Yesterday the ‘ Moffatt’s ‘ – Tim & Thea were spotted out for lunch, up in the hills, see the picture below, Tim will be even more happy with the news below!

A quick update on yesterday’s football; over in England, Liverpool ran rings/run riot around Watford and won 6-1, it could have been more as ‘Sturridge’ hit the post twice and three other shots were nearly goals, they are now top of the ‘ Premiere League’ Over here in ‘La Liga’ Barcelona won 1-2 & Real Madrid won 3-0 with ‘ Bale scoring 2!

Last night after supper we watched the new series of ‘ Planet Earth II ‘ on BBC TV, as usual it was excellent with even more spectacular shots as the filming coverage has advanced ‘ ( Drones!)

Then it was time for the final episode of “ Poldark “ In an action-packed finale, Ross, managed to ‘dig’ himself ( the Tin find in the mine!) out of most of his economic and emotional holes, one problem in the future is that his first love, who has married for money, is pregnant and it could be his?! Ross had a fight with her husband, his enemy, when he called Demelza a ‘ Scullery Maid’! What will Demelza think after she’s taken him back?!

Meanwhile the Doctor has joined the Navy, as they go to war, Ross reunited him with his true love for their first & last night of passion, will he return unscathed from the war?! Finally the local peasants rose up in arms ( Pitchforks actually!) when the local open land was fenced off by the new ‘Lord of the Manor’ – his enemy, Ross, reappeared, just in time, after not rejoining his ‘Regiment and stopped them from rebellion, for now!

As it said at the end “  We shall return “ – in 2017!!
